Shop Policies

Vanity is always aiming to be as transparent and straightforward as possible when it comes to our policies, for any questions please feel free to reach out.

Deposits

To book at Vanity, we require a 25% non refundable deposit for all appointments. As stated, this deposit is NOT REFUNDABLE for any reason.

Late Policy

At Vanity, mutual respect is a big part of our relationship with our clients. When we have a late client, it unfortunately not only affects us, but our next client. Because of this, we have a hard 15 minute grace period. If you will be late, please reach out to your technician, and we will do our best to see if something can be done. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment is automatically cancelled and your deposit is forfeited.

Cancellations

We take cancellations up to 24 hours before your appointment. If you reschedule, your deposit can be transferred to your next appointment, if you choose not to reschedule, your deposit is forfeited. If you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your window, your deposit is automatically forfeited. In extreme cases, your technician may make an exception. For late cancellations, in order to book again in the future, you will have to pay 50% of the missed appointment. Multiple late cancelations will result in being permanently banned from booking with Vanity again.

No Shows

No shows immediately forfeit their deposit, and in order to book again in the future, will have to pay 50% of their missed appointment. Multiple no shows will result in being permanently banned from booking with Vanity again.

Foreign Fills

All fills done on a set from another service provider will be subject to a foreign fill fee. There is no guarantee that we can fill another shops work, and sometimes a removal may be required.

Guests and Children

Guests are more than welcome at Vanity, but not all of our service rooms have available seating. This may result in your guest having to sit in the front lobby. Children under the age of 15 are not allowed on Vanity premises due to multiple caustic chemicals, as well as sharp implements and needles. Per our licensing, children are not permitted in the building.

Conduct

At Vanity, we thrive on creating a welcoming and safe environment for everyone. Behavior that is rude, prejudice, or generally dangerous will result in your appointment ending immediately. To reiterate and clarify: racist comments will get you removed from the shop and banned permanently. We also have a service dog on the premises and as a client, we ask that you ignore him to the best of your ability.

Payment

We require a 25% deposit for all services, and your remainder is paid after your appointment. We accept Apple Pay, cash, and card. Payment is calculated on the services you receive, not the services you book. 

Refunds

Refunds for deposits are not a possibility. If you are unhappy with your service or the result, you may receive a partial refund after the product is removed. Refunds are up to the discretion of each individual artist.

Food & Drink

Vanity has a full coffee bar and cold refreshments for your convenience. We do ask that and drinks or food you bring in can be covered, as there are multiple things (dust, cosmetic chemicals, etc.) in the shop that we don't want to end up in your stomach.

Social Media and Usage

At Vanity, we are very proud of our work, and will often post photos of it. We never post photos of sensitive areas, and will always do our best to make sure both our work and you look amazing. If you have any questions about this, please reach out to your tech for further clarification.

Content

Vanity will not produce any art with racist, gang affiliated, hateful, or harmful themes or undertones. This policy is final and up to the discretion of the artist.
